Outlook Express 6 Setup Instructions

Launch Outlook Express

Go to Tools-->Accounts



Select the Mail Tab then Add-->Mail




Enter Display Name (Your Name)-->Next



Enter your email address (loginname@yourdomain.com)-->Next



Leave the server type as POP3
Enter sam.montanaservers.com in the POP Server Name box:
Enter sam.montanaservers.com in the SMTP Server box:-->Next

Make sure your complete email address (youremail@yourdomain.com) is in the account name box
Enter your password in the password box (this is case sensitive)

Finish



Almost done!
Click on the account you have just created then click properties then select the server tab
Put a check mark in the bottom box, my server requires authentication.
(SEE IMAGE BELOW)



Now click on the advanced tab, put check marks in both boxes that say
"This server requires a secure connection (SSL) "

If you like to leave some mail on the server so you can use our webmail when you are away from your computer then check the boxes under delivery as I have checked mine. (SEE IMAGE BELOW)



Click OK then Close.
You are done, the email account is setup.
Now send yourself a test message to make sure it works.
